Description

Our universal spare membrane fits in almost all devices present on the market. In the membrane only high-quality PP/Polysulfone TFC filter (0,0001 Micron) manufactured in the USA will be used. At present this is the most effective and most modern membrane which filters out even bacteria with a ratio of over 99%. We offer the performance levels 50GPD (200 litres/day), 100GPD (400 litres/day), 120GPD (500 litres/day). Operating pressure of 3-6 bar with 25°C.

You can even use our filters as "achievement Upgrade" of your existing plant. Following table gives you the necessary flow rate per hour, which has to be adjusted (discharge valve).

Product	Capacity	Flow rate	Performance
TW30-2013/050 GPD	200 l/d (max. 08,0 l/h)	24 Liter/Hour	bis zu 99,00 % (min. 95,0 %)
TW30-2013/075 GPD	300 l/d (max. 12,0 l/h)	48 Liter/Hour	bis zu 99,00 % (min. 95,0 %)
TW30-2013/100 GPD	400 l/d (max. 16,0 l/h)	64 Liter/Hour	bis zu 95,00 % (min. 90,0 %)
TW30-2013/125 GPD	500 l/d (max. 20,8 l/h)	80 Liter/Hour	bis zu 95,00 % (min. 90,0 %)

To check the manufactured permeats and provide an optimal water change we recommend the EC meters and pH meters from our shop.

Why reverse osmosis?
Tap water is often not suitable as aquarium water. With the procedure of the reverse osmosis (Reverse Osmosis RO) substances can be removed, those in the aquarium disturb. These are above all salts, hardness, plant nutrients such as nitrate, phosphate or silicic acid. The reverse osmosis is an extremely fine filtration (hyperfiltration) by a diaphragm. By the water pressure in the line the pure water (permeat) becomes "pressed out" of a salt solution. Thereby the membran has such small openings, that only the water molecules fit through, but the salt molecules due to their molecular size do not fit through. At the end of the reverse osmosis process on one side of the diaphragm a highly concentrated salt solution remains and on the other side you receive pure water. This is suitable as blend water (water change) both for sea waters and fresh water aquariums. No chemicals are used, and this plant does not need to be regenerated like full demineralizers or ionic changer.

Why a flushvalve and water/wastewater modulator?
To prevent clogging the diaphragm the reverse osmosis plant produces consequently beside pure water also waste water (concentrate), to rinse away unwanted substances. Our prescreeners (fine filters) help to reduce suspended matters for protection reasons. The following activated charcoal filters deactivate the chlorine content to protect the high-quality osmose diaphragm. For regular maintenance (flushing) our equipment contains a flushvalve. Regular rinsing (increase of the concentrate velocity of flow) extends the life span of the reverse osmosis diaphragm substantially. We use diaphragm from PP/polysulfone which van not be destroyed by bacteria. The average life span amounts to approx. 5 to 10 years with a demineralization rate of approx. 96 to 98 %.

What is hold back by our reversal osmose plant RO-400 TMT:
Aluminum 96-99%, Ammonium 86-92%, Arsenic 94-96%, Barium 96-98%, Bicarbonate 90-95%, Lead 96-98%, Chromates 86-92%, Chlorine 87-93%, Cyanides 86-92%, Iron 95-98%, Ferrous cyanides 98-99%, Fluorides 87-93%, Calcium 94-97%, Copper 98-99%, Magnesium 96-98%, Sodium 87-93 %, Nickel 98-99%, Nitrate 90-92%, Phosphates 96-99%, Pottasium 87-94%, Silicate 85-90%, Strontium 96-98%, Sulfates 96-98%, Triosulfate 96-98%, Zinc 98-99%.

Which values in the Permeat can I expect?
On the basis of tap water with pH 7.0, a conductivity of 1020µS, Total hardness 20dH and carbon hardness 3dH you receive with normal conditions a permeat with pH 6.2, a conductivity of approx. 25µS, total hardness 1dH and carbon hardness 0,4dH.

Why 500 litres of achievement?
Completely simply! 500 litres/day are about 20 litres/hour. On the basis of a 25% water change with 1/3 blend water and 400 litres aquarium one needs scarcely 1,5 hours for the production of the necessary permeat. With a 200 litres plant you need 4 hours. The second reason is, that the diaphragm of our large plants has up to 70%a longer life expectancy compared with often offered 200 litres plants. Genuine price advantages!
