Description

The hardness tester HT-6510MF is our new top-product. It is small in dimension, easily to transport and light in weight. The meter is our standard model for measuring the hardness of memory foam/visco-elastic foam. The large diameter presser foot and the cylindrical indentor allow the direct measurement on the object. A particularly for this device developed microprocessor driven LSI circuit provides for high measuring accuracy and quick gate times.

You can use the HT-6510MF locally as hand measuring instrument or for the material testing in the laboratory. The device corresponds to the standards DIN 53505, ISO 868 and ISO 7619, ASTMD 2240 and JISK 7215. It has a RS-232 interface to transfer the measured values to a laptop or a PC. Software and cables (SW2) are optional available in our shop. The automatic power off helps you to save power.

Technical details & application:
Particularly in the materials technology hardness plays a huge role. The measured hardness of a body makes possible conclusions on its characteristics e.g. about how quickly it breaks or is being tear. We are recommending sample surfaces with a minimum thickness of 6 mm for optimal results of measurement. You can superimpose if necessary. several samples, in order to obtain the minimum thickness.
